Amsterdam-based, Paris-born DJ, producer, and artist Kléo is adding another string to her bow, with the launch of a new label, Call 4 Rhythm.
The imprint's inaugural release – a 12" from Kléo called 'Agogo' – also marks her debut production.
To celebrate, Kléo is hosting an in-store at Rush Hour on Thursday 19 October from 14.00 – 16.00. For the occasion, she'll be joined by DJ Deep, with limited edition test pressings of her 12" available.
"'Agogo' sets-off nostalgically, with lingering keys that remind of long gone days, while menacing lines of acid make their way through the surface to ease in between robust percussive beats.
Its B-side is "the Chicago-infused version – a statement bewildered by forceful 303 execution."
