Heléna Star has selected Lakuti as one of her favourite DJs appearing at Risen Festival 2023, for Time Out London.
Speaking about Lakuti, Heléna shares: "She’s a bit of a legend. Hailing from Johannesburg but based in Berlin, she runs a lot of parties at Panorama Bar and has been doing so for the past 30-odd years. She’s just an incredible DJ; into really heavy, bassy stuff, and is all about the roots of genres: house music, old-school, deep, Chicago, Detroit."
